The College of Translators and Interpreters of Chile, COTICH (Former AGTS), is a Chilean non-governmental organization, legally constituted and member of the Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs, FIT. It was founded in 1991 with the aim of protecting the interests and regularizing the exercise of the profession, promoting the improvement of its associates and contributing effectively to the cultural, economic and social development of the country. Its members adhere to a strict code of professional ethics that aims to guide the permanent practice of a complete, efficient and confidential translation activity.

V International Congress of Translation and Interpretation

organized by the College of Translators and Interpreters of Chile. This will be held at the Faculty of Communications and Arts of the University of the Americas, Los Castaños, 7 Norte 1348, Viña del Mar headquarters. This congress is intended to serve as a space for updating and perfecting translators. and interpreters and as a forum for analysis and reflection on practical issues that have arisen in the current post-pandemic global context.
It is for this reason that we cordially invite all interested parties to take advantage of this unique opportunity to share experiences and professional visions, which ultimately nourish our work as translators and interpreters.
